AssetList
A portfolio viewer that lives in your own browser. One page for the value and daily change of everything you hold — US and Canadian stocks, CDRs, ETFs, mutual funds, cash and crypto — in the currency you choose (USD, CAD, CNY, JPY, EUR).
Why people use it
- No account, no server, no tracking. Holdings, costs and API keys stay in this browser. AssetList has no backend and no analytics; quote and AI requests go straight from your browser to providers you chose, and every request can be checked in the browser's network panel.
- Deliberately simple. A ledger that shows what you own and what it is worth today. No trading, no brokerage linking, no feature creep; a chart is one click away on TradingView or Google Finance.
- Ask the experts. Eight AI investment styles — Moat Value, Macro Cycle Allocation, Liquidity-Driven Macro, Growth at a Reasonable Price, Cycle-Aware Risk Control, Quantitative Value & Special Situations, Absolute-Return Deep Value, Growth Momentum Breakout — analyse your holdings independently, then debate each other. They run on your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google API key, so the conversation is between you and the provider you already pay.
- Reports on demand. Pre-market brief, post-market recap, portfolio check-up and stress test, generated in the app or copied as a ready prompt into your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
- Free, with your own keys. Quotes work with no key at all (about 15 minutes delayed); a free Finnhub key adds real-time US quotes. The only costs are on your own accounts with data vendors and LLM providers.
